under the auspices of the Society during the winter. Meets
at least once a month, in a room at the Academy.

This Club is open to all former pupils of Dollar Academy,

KINCARDINE BURNS' LITERARY CLUB.
President, Duncan Wright ; vice-president, [Vacant] ;
hon. secy., T. R. Buchanan ; and a committee. Member-
ship about 35.
ALV^\ MUTUAL IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION.
Instituted 16th April, 186L
Object — Mental culture, and the attainment of useful
knowledge. The affairs of the Association are conducted
by the following office-bearers and committee — President,
H. Rushtou ; vice-president, A. Roy ; secretary, John Tran ;
treasurer, J. M'Nie. Committee — M. Murchison, J. Angus,
James Rennie, James Miller, and John Marshall. Member-
ship about 40.
TILLICOULTRY FIELD CLUB.
President, J. T. Robertson ; vice-president, A. Kennedy ;
secretary, Alex. Wilson ; treasurer, Alex. Kennedy.
Meetings are held on first Friday of every month (except
August) for reading and discussing papers, exhibiting
specimens, &c.
POPULAR INSTITUTE, TILLICOULTRY.
Chairman, Hugh C. Bennett; vice-chairman, W. Chalmers;
secretary, Adam Stewart ; treasurer, Hugh Cameron ; hall-
keeper and keeper of tower clock and bell, Peter Frame. The
library in connection with the hall contains about 1500 volumes,
