had done for Me for some time tdl One day these words injer. came into My
Mind he that breaketh one Commandment is guilty of all11 and I was filled
wt great horror and fear I got liberty to power out my soul to God in prayer
for strength to obey & serve him and I plead much that I had no strength in
my self and yt his grace was only Sufficient for me. I said I would only lean
upon his strength and upon the back of this petition these words Came in
with power & Sweetness My Grace is shall be sufficient for thee12 After this
immediatly after this I was so filled with a sense of his goodness to my Soul
that I was filled with thankfulness and praise and that of redeeming love was
above all his mercies I was in the Lively exercise of faith & love after this day
till Kilsyth Communion and a sense of The Redeemers Love constrained
Me to go there and Commemorate his Death. On Saturday I heard a Minr
preach (Mr Warden in Camp:)13 on Ps 118 Blessed is he that Cometh in the
Name of the Lord to save us14 I then had a full assurance of faith that C was
Come to Save Me and I blessed the Lord for his Coming to save My Soul. I
heard anoyr Minr on Isa 62.7 Give him no rest till Zion be made a praise of

God that he might make Jerusalem a praise of y Whole Earth and I prayed
much for this & expected continue in expecting ane answer from him On

peace. I intended to have gone to the Communion table but it so fell out that
I was dissappointed of a token My Parish Minr which was a great trouble to
Me for I had a great desire to go to the table and the dissappointment was the
heavier upon Me. I heard anoyr Minr whose name I did not know preach on
if I by the finger of God Cast out Devils then is the Kingdom of God Come
unto you17 where he shewed what these devils were that the Spirit of God did
cast out of the hearts of men he named Several Sins such as pride & Unbelief
and gave the marks by which a person might know y’ Kdom of God was
come unto him I was enabled to apply the marks and I was releived from the
disorder that had been upon my Spirit by reason of my disappointment of a
token After this thro’ the whole day I was filled withjoy & peace in believing.
On Munday morning I heard the Minr of the place explain a part of the 118
