exceeding 120 merks old sterling, one other incompatible benefice
with or without cure with powers of exchange outside the curia
for two incompatible benefices. Patrick had been dispensed under
Clement vn to hold along with a canonry and prebend of Moray
and the parish church of Lundi, St Andrews diocese, one dignity,
parsonage or office with or without cure, even if a major or principal
dignity in a cathedral or collegiate church, with powers of exchange
as often as he pleased for similar or dissimilar benefices, and now he
is further dispensed as above.

Andrews diocese. Indult for William to choose a suitable and dis¬
creet priest to hear his confessions and grant absolution in cases
pertinent to minor penitentiaries at the curia.

To Thomas Stewart, clerk, St Andrews diocese. Indult for Thomas,
related in the second degree of consanguinity to James, king of Scots,
and kinsman of both Robert, duke of Albany, governor of Scotland,
and Alexander, earl of Mar, admiral of Scotland, recently dispensed
of his defect of birth as the son of a deacon and an unmarried woman
to be promoted to all holy orders and to hold one, two or three
benefices with power of exchange for compatible benefices, now to
hold as many different kinds of benefices as he wishes with power of
exchange as often as he pleases.
