To Walter Stewart, clerk, St Andrews diocese. Indult for Walter,
related in the second degree of consanguinity to Janies, king of
Scots, and kinsman of both Robert, duke of Albany, governor of
Scotland, and Alexander, earl of Mar, admiral of Scotland, recently
dispensed of a defect of birth as the son of a deacon and an un¬
married woman to be promoted to all holy orders and to hold
one, two or three benefices even if with cure, with power of ex¬
change for compatible benefices, to hold as many different kinds of
benefices as he wishes with power of exchange as often as he pleases.

To the bishop of Moray. Mandate to dispense John de Dun, layman,
to marry Elizabeth Flemyng, Moray diocese, notwithstanding their
being related in the second degree of affinity arising from the fact
that the late John de Innes, same diocese, who had carnally known
the above Elizabeth and had had a child by her, was related in the
second degree of consanguinity to the said John de Dun.
