LETTERS Of POPE BENEDICT XIII
he is known to hold a canonry and prebend of Dunkeld and the
vicarage of the parish church of Memour, said diocese, combined
value not exceeding 24 merks sterling to a non-resident, but on his
peaceful assecution to a dignity or office with cure he is held to
demit the said parish church.

benefice in the gift of the abbot and convent of Kilwinning, osb,
of the kind wont to be assigned to secular clerks, to the value of
25 merks sterling if with cure, and to the value of 18 merks sterling
if without cure.

To Columba de Dunbar, secular dean of the collegiate church of
Dunbar, St Andrews diocese. Indult for Columba, student in arts
for several years at Oxford, legitimate son of George de Dunbar,
earl of March, to hold along with the secular deanery of the collegiate
church of Dunbar, which is a principal dignity in that church with
cure, value not exceeding ^40 sterling to a non-resident, one other
benefice incompatible with the deanery even if a dignity, parsonage
or office with cure, provided it is not a major or principal dignity
in a cathedral or collegiate church at the pleasure of the apostolic see,
with powers of exchange for two incompatible benefices, provided
they are not two major or principal dignities in cathedral or
collegiate churches, or one a major dignity and the other a principal
dignity, or two parish churches.1
