To David de Edewy, canon of Aberdeen, m.a. Provision of David
to a canonry of Aberdeen with reservation of a prebend whether
a dignity, parsonage or office with or without cure provided it is
not a major dignity in that church, notwithstanding he is known
to hold a canonry and prebend and the archdeaconry of Brechin,
a non-major dignity with cure, and the hospital of Arrot, Brechin
diocese, combined value not exceeding ^20 sterling to a non¬
resident in the church of Brechin, and to have rights to the parish
church of Enirrite, St Andrews diocese. David had recently been
dispensed to hold along with the archdeaconry, a dignity, parsonage
or office with cure, or a parish church, but on his peaceful assecution
to a benefice as above by virtue of this provision he is held to demit
the archdeaconry or the parish church, otherwise he will forfeit all
rights to the said parish church of Enirrite.

Concurrent mandate to the archdeacon of Candida Casa, and to
the officials of St Andrews and Brechin.

To the bishops of St Andrews and Glasgow. Mandate to examine
John de Lychcor, sub-prior of Paisley, o.clun. on his suitability
and fitness for provision to the abbacy of the said monastery, vacant
by the death outside the curia of John, late abbot, under whom the
monastery had been reserved to papal provision, and to report their
findings under their seals to the pope.

To the bishop of Glasgow. Mandate to dispense the nobleman
William de Hay, doncel, lord of Lochorwart, to marry Elizabeth de
Douglas, St Andrews diocese, notwithstanding their being related
in the fourth degree of consanguinity, and that they also have a
