To the bishop of Glasgow. Mandate to dispense the nobleman
William de Douglas, earl of Angus, to marry Margaret, daughter of
Sir William de Hay, the elder, St Andrews diocese, notwithstanding
their being related in the fourth degree of consanguinity and that
the bishop of St Andrews should also have been written to.

To the abbot of Crossraguel, Glasgow diocese, and the chancellor
and sub-dean of Glasgow. Indult that after examination they
should grant to Andrew Stewart, monk in the monastery of Paisley,
o.clun., and of royal birth, an annual pension of 40 gold crowns
for five years from the fruits of the abbey, that he might study canon
law or sacred theology at a university provided that the monastery
is not troubled by this exaction and can indeed, as Andrew claims,
support one monk at a university.
