Huyston, priest, Glasgow diocese, holding the prebend of Renfrew,
wishing an exchange had resigned their respective benefices into
the hands of Mathew, bishop of Glasgow, outside the curia, and
he had admitted John to Renfrew and Patrick to Castylcarryk.
John was then provided to the precentorship of Glasgow as above,
and Castylcarryk was thus legally vacant although Patrick unlaw¬
fully detained it for more than six years. But now Robert is to be
collated to the canonry and prebend notwithstanding that he is
known to hold the said parish church of Cambuslang.1

To the official of Brechin. Mandate to provide Malcolm de Aula,
b.dec., priest, former chaplain of the late Annabella, queen of Scots,
rector of the parish church of Tanadas, St Andrews diocese, value
not exceeding £40 sterling to a non-resident, to a canonry of
Brechin with expectation of a prebend, notwithstanding that he is
known to hold the said church of Tanadas.

To John de Kyrkmichelle, canon of Glasgow. Provision of John,
priest and second year student of canon law at Orleans, to a canonry
of Glasgow with expectation of a prebend, with or without cure,
or to an elective office notwithstanding that he is known to hold the
parish church of Lillieschefe, Glasgow diocese, value not exceeding
^20 sterling to a non-resident; but if by virtue of this provision
John should obtain a dignity, parsonage, administration or an office
with cure he is to demit the parish church.
