To John de Carrike, rector of the parish church of Hailes, St Andrews
diocese, b.dec. Provision of John, recently dispensed of a defect of
birth as the son of a religious priest and an unmarried woman, to
be promoted to all holy orders and to hold a benefice even if with
cure, to the parish church of Halys, St Andrews diocese, value not
exceeding 18 pounds sterling to a non-resident, vacant by the recent
death at the curia of Richard Huntar, late rector.

To the abbot of Balmerino, St Andrews diocese. Mandate to collate
Nicholas Childe, priest, Dunkeld diocese, lic.art., to the parish
church of Halis, St Andrews diocese, value not exceeding ^22
sterling to a non-resident, vacant by the death at the curia of Richard
Huntar, former rector, notwithstanding that Nicholas has recently
been reserved a benefice in the gift of the bishop, prior and chapter
of St Andrews; but on his peaceful assecution to Halis these letters
are to become invalid.

hold a council at Perpignan to which he has commanded the
presence of all and singular patriarchs, archbishops, bishops, bishops-
elect, abbots and certain capitular and conventual prelates, exempt
and non-exempt.
