| Description | A dusty road runs diagonally across the picture. In the background fields with deep crops and copses of lush trees can be seen framing the horizon. On the road two donkeys are patiently standing still. They are hitched up to a small carriage and wearing quite light tack and saddles. The carriage is double-axled and made of covered boxes. On the side of them Red Cross symbols have been attached. The driver is riding the donkey nearest the camera rather than sitting on the driving-box.
