There is no gas mentioned, for there was none ; but
what there was the bard tells —
Eidh lochrainn ann de ghloineachan,
A 's coinneal anns gach ait.
There will be lanterns of glasses there.
And a candle in every place.
Clous na Parlamaid — the Parliament Close — occurs.
