Tha luchd a daimh air dol fudh Jic.
Tha mi gun athair, gun bhrathair,
A's fear ino shàraìch gun iochd.
Tha reulan Sheallmaith air dubhadh,
A's a thulach air fas donn,
Cha leim na brie re a shruthaibh,
Cha tog cuach na uiseag ann fonn.
Cha'n iongna a's gur bas do Thruthal,
Mo bhrathair thug urram thar slòigh,
A*s gur chaireadh Colla caomhach,
(B'e m*athair gaolach), fudh an fhòid.
Bha Truthal le h-oUtuadh coc;aidh
Chosnadh cothrora, agus coir ;
Tra bhiosa ma sgaradh nan tràth,
Na m* suidhe ag aird chraoibh an loin.
Thainig am ionnsuidh m'athair

Air aghaidh fhlathail cha robh sunt,
A's osnadh air grunt a chleibhc."
