The operations of Stubbs' Mercantilo Offices are conducted by the following chief departments: —
I.-GAZETTE DEPARTMENT.
Studbs' Weekly Gazette (indispensable to all Traders giving credit) contains a list of all Bankmptoies, Liqaldatlons,
Arrangements, Trusteeships, Bills of Sale, and all Preferential Securities, County Court Judgments, 4o.
II.-COMMERCIAL REGISTER AND STATUS DEPARTMENT.
Stubbs' Commercial Registers comprise more than a Million entries relating to the credit, position and trustworthinega of
the trading community of the three Kingdoms, to which valuable additions are daily being made.
The advantages derivable from this department of the business are being more and more appreciated by the SubscriberSf ^rho
&re thus assisted to discriminate as to the advisabihty of extending, limiting or closing accounts.
III.-DEBT RECOVERY DEPARTMENT.
Debts recovered upon a simple and comprehensivo system. All useless Law costs avoided. Charges by per centage. Fail
particulars in four page Prospectus.
IV.-POREIGN DEPARTMENT.
status enquiries are made in all parts of the Continent, the Colonies, and the United States.
Foreign debts are also applied for on behalf of the Subscribers. The ordinary commission on amounts recovered in these cases,
la £ per cent, exclusive of actual outlay.
Exclusive advantages are secured for our Subscribers in connection with the organization of the long-establislied Trade
Protection Association of M'Killop and Sprague Co., of the United States and Canada.
V.-PINANCIAL DEPARTMENT.
Subscribers can obtain, through this department, all the ordinary facilities afforded by a Bank Agency, at very low rates.
Negociable Securities are bought and sold through qualified brokers, at reduced rates of commission.
VI.-TRADE MARK REGISTER DEPARTMENT.
The Agency of the Trade Mark Protection Society is conducted by Messrs. Stubbs & Co. Terms of Subscription to the Society,
and information as to the protection of Trade Marks, may be obtained on application.
VII.-SPECIAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
Information is obtained for Subscribers from all accessible Public Records in Great Britain end Ireland, from the Government
Departments, from Public Official sources generally, and from published compilations of an important character. Wills examined
at Doctors' commons. Bills of Sale registered. Liquidations and Bankruptcy proceedings investigated, and Meetings attended on
beholX of Creditors. Patents of Inventions are taken out on behalf of Foreign Subscribers.
