This Institution was unfortunately destroyud by fire in
February, 1882. New premises in liroad Street hare been built,
but have not yet been opened. 'I'he institution is to be hencu-
fortli designated " D&y Feeding School.

The (Jounty Hospital, which was instituted in February 18()7,
mainly through the liberality of the late Earl of Kellie,is designed
for the medical and surgical treatment of persons in the county
of Clackmannan suflTering from disease or accident. A detached
building is upheld by the Local Authorities of the Burgh and
Parish of Alloa for the reception of persona suffering from
infectious diseases. Keeper of fever hospital, Mrs Bain. The
funds for the establishment and support of county hospital
are understood to be raised by voluntary contributions.
Subscribers may visit the hosj)ital any day between 2 and 3 p.m.
Patients may be visited by their friends between 2 and 3 p. m.
and 7 to 9 evening. On Sundays from 7 to 9 evening.
