MOST respectfully invite the attention of the Glasgow Public to the AGRICUL-
TURAL IMPLEMENTS and MACHINES manufactured by them, and for
which they have gained such high celebrity, being awarded, within the last six years,
upwards of Ninety Sovereigns and Ten Medals, by the Highland and Agricultural
Society of Scotland and other Agricultural Societies, for the invention of new and
improvement of existing Farming Implements.
The following Implements are of the first class, and in general use : —
PLOUGHS of every description, for which they have been repeatedly awarded the
Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland's Premiums, the Royal Agricultural
Society of Ireland's, and other Agricultural Societies'.
SUBSOIL PLOUGHS and PULVERIZERS, Highland Society's present Prize
Implements, and the Royal Society of Ireland's.
TURNIP-SOWING MACHINES, Single and Double Drill.
FARM CARTS, Highland and Agricultural Society's Premiums, and Royal Agri-
cultural Society of Ireland's.
Implements for Drill Culture, including HORSE HOES, DRILL GRUBBERS,
DRILL HARROWS, &c, Highland Society and Royal Agricultural Society of
Ireland's Premiums.
THRASHING MACHINES, on a most improved principle, light of draught,
thrash clean, and not at all liable to get out of order.
HAY and STRAW CUTTERS, OAT and BEAN BRUISERS, of various sizes,
and the most approved descriptions, always kept on hand.
NORWEGIAN HARROWS, or CLOD-BREAKERS. This is the most efficient
Implement for the purpose yet inveuted.
FIELD -ROLLERS, HARROWS, CHEESE-PRESSES, GRASS and GRAIN
SOWING MACHINES, &c, &c.
