Some of the Policy-holders, instead of accepting the payments of Money, prefer

An important feature of the Society is, That, in the Division of the Surplus, no undue
advantages are allowed the older class of Members at the expense of the Later Entrants.
During the year ending 5th April, 1850, the Society issued 730 new Policies for
Assurances, amounting to £249,000.

Prospectuses will be sent, post-paid, to any part of the Kingdom; and parties residing
in Districts where there are no Agents of the Society, may readily effect Assurances
by communicating with the Manager at the Head Office.

THIS CEMETERY is now tastefully laid out, and open to the Promenade of the
Puhlic.
Ground for Lairs and Tombs is on Sale, from 15s. to £4.

Undertaker in Glasgow, or to the Subscriber,
