THE Aberdeen Assurance Company was established in 1825, by a numerous body of Pro-
prietors, and is at present one of the wealihiest and most influential Companies carrying
on business in the North of Scotland. As illu>trative of the extent and success of the business
it may be mentioned, that the Company has One Hundred and Sixty Agencies; and that the
Shares are One Hundred and Fifty per cent above the original cost.
FIRE INSURANCE.
Ordinary Risks, such as Dwelling- Houses, Household Furniture, &c., are charged Is. 6d*
Hazardous Insurances, which comprehend Spirit Dealer's Stock Bakehouses, Oils, and the
like, 2s. Hd. Doubly Hazardous Ri^ks, such as th^itciied Buildings, China, Glass, &c. 4s. 6d.
Farm stock is rated only at 2s. per cent., and no charge is made J or the Policy, which, to
Farmers, is an important saving upon small sums.
The Rates of the Aberdeen Assurance Company for Lives are
LOWER THAN THOSE OF ANY OTHER OFFFICE IN SCOTLAND;
while the security afforded to the Policy Holders is undoubted. [Continued.
