THE ASSOCIATION transacts every legitimate description of LIFE
ASSURANCE and ANNUITY Business, and also secures ENDOW-
MENTS, payable during life, as PROVISIONS FOR OLD AGE. It com-
bines Perfect Security to the Assured with Moderate Rates of Premium,
careful Selection of Risks, and immediate Participation in Profits.
DIVISION OF PROFITS.
NINE-TENTHS (00 per cent.) of the PROFITS are divided among the
Assured every FIVE YEARS. Seven Divisions of Profits have already
taken place, at each of which BONUS ADDITIONS, at Rates never lower than
One Pound Ten Shillings per Cent, per Annum, were made to all Par-
ticipating Policies effected for the Whole Term of Life. Thus a Policy
for £1000, opened in 1840, now amounts to £1650.
THE EIGHTH DIVISION OF PROFITS WILL TAKE PLACE AT
CHRISTMAS, 1885. Policies effected during 1882 will then be en-
titled to Four Years' Bonus Additions.
LIBERAL CONDITIONS in regard to FOREIGN RESIDENCE AND
TRAVELLING.
FAMILY TRUST POLICIES.
NON-FORFEITURE POLICIES are now issued under the ' Married
Women's Policies of Assurance Act,' 1880, securing Family Provisions
free from control of Creditors and without a separate Trust Deed.
LOANS are granted, in connexion with Life Assurance, on Life Interests,
Reversions, Personal, and other approved Securities.
