EMBRACES this opportunity of thanking his numerous friends and tha
public for the considerable patronage he has for many years received';
and, in thus soliciting a continuance of their favours, begs to say that he
continues to fit all ages and variety of sights with SPECTACLES,
FOLDERS, EYE-GL ASSES, and READERS, so as to meet the various
defects of Vision. Eyes of the best quality from BRAZILIAN PEBBLE
Or GLASS, ACCURATELY GROUND AND CAREFULLY TESTED, SO as to secure
not only distinct Vision to the Wearer, but preservation of the Sight, so
â– often injured by the use of inferior or ill-selected Glasses.
Also spectacles with Coloured Eyes, which, by neutralizing the heating
and irritating tendency of all Artificial Light, are favourable to Weak
Sights, and to those who Write, Sew, or otherwise use their -Eyes much at
liight.

carefully adapted to the focus of the wearer.
