freights at other hours to be one-half more than those above-mentioned.'
In cases where the rates are chargeable by weight or measure, it
shall be optional in the collector to charge either way.
A person engaging a boat or pinnace to sail at a particular hour,
must deposit the freight when he makes the engagement.

A steam-boat will sail from Dundee every day except Sunday, at
the following hours in the morning, and continuing to ply every sub-
sequent hour until the under-mentioned hours in the evening : —
From the 15th. February to the 15th. March inclusive, from7niorn

From 16th. March to 15th. April, from 7 morning to 6 evening.
From 16th. April to 15th. May, from 7 morning to 7 evening.
From 16th. May to 15th. August, from 7 morning to 8 evening.
From 16th. August to 10th. September, from 7 morning to 7 evening.
From 11th. Sept. to 30th Sept. from 7 morning to 6 evening.
From 1st. October to 15th. October, from 7 morning to 5 evening.
From 16th. October to 14th. February, from 7 morning to 4 evening.
To leave Newport for Dundee at each intermediate half-hour.
A cutter will sail an hour before the steam-boat each morning,
from the 15th. February to the 15th. October, and an hour after the
steam-boat each evening, except from the 16th. May to 15th. August.
On Sundays, the steam-boat will sail at the following hours : —
From 1st, November to 31st. January. — From Dundee at 9 morning,
and 1 and 4 afternoon ; and from Newport at half-past 9 morn-
ing, and half-past 1 and half-past 4 afternoon.
From 1st. to 28th. February, and 1st, to 31st. October From
Dundee at 9 morning, and 1 and 4 afternoon; and from Newport
at half-past 9 morning, and half-past 1 and half-past 4 afternoon.
From 1st. March to 23rd. April, and from the 26th. August to 30th.
September. — From Dundee at half-past 7 and 9 morning, and 1, 4j
and 6 afternoon ; and from Newport at 8 and half-past 9 morning,
and half-past 1, half-past 4, and half-past 6 afternoon.
From 24th. April to 25th. August From Dundee at 7 and 9 morn-
ing, and 1, half-past 4, and half-past 7 afternoon ; and from New-
port at half-past 7> and half-past 9 morning, and half-past 1, 5, and
8 afternoon.
