THE CAPITAL of the Company is Two Millions, of which £390,000 is paid up
and Invested ; and in addition there are Eeserve Punds, which, independently
of the Life Eeserve, amount to £1,000,000.
FIRE INSURANCE.
The Premiums in 1866 exceeded £818,000, and were greater than those of any
other Company by upwards of £300,000.
Insurances of every description, botlr Home and Foreign, effected at Moderate
Eates. '^0 charge for Policy Stamps.
LIFE INSURANCE.
The Premiums received in 1866 were £254,397, and the Annuities paid amounted
to £40,763. The Pund accumulated to meet these Liabilities is £1,856,493. The
Liability of Proprietors is unlimited.
BONUSES on Life Policies are GUAEANTEED when the Insurance is Effected.
Claims paid in Thirty Days after admission.
THE ANNUITY Eates are extremely liberal, and every facility given to Purchasers
as to place and time of payment.
CLAIMS UNDEE POLICIES have at all times been properly adjusted and paid
and in the course of thirty-one years have exceeded Five Millions and a Half
Sterling. This test, and the present revenue, are conclusive evidence of the satis-
factory way in which the business of the Company is conducted.
