2d "Ward — All within a line drawn from a point in Greenbill road
opposite to the centre of the north end ofLonewells street, along the
middle of the Greenbill road, Underwood street, and St. James
street, to a point opposite to the centre of the street called Stoney
brae, thence by the centre of Stoney brae till it joins Oakshaw street,
thence along the eentre of the road leading round the High Church
wall to the Churchhill, thencealong the centre of Churchhill to New
street, theuce along the centre of New street to a point opposite the
centre of Shuttle street, thence along the centre of that street to
George's place, by the west and south of George's church to a point
in George street opposite the north end of Wardrop street, theuce
along the centre of that street to Canal street, thence along the
centre of that street to a point opposite to the centre of the road
leading to Caual Basin, thence along the centre of that road to the
Canal, thence along the centre of the Caual westward to the east
boundary of the First Ward, thence northward along the said boun-
dary to the point first described.
3d Ward — All within a line drawn from the point where the Burn
called St. Mirren's Burn enters the Biver Cart, rip the centre of the
Biver Cart until it reaeb.es the extremity of the Parliamentary boun-
dary of the Burgh at or near the junction of the Hawkhead Lade
with the Biver Cart, thence along the Parliamentary line until it
reaches the intersection of theEspedair Burn at or near Haircraigs,
thence along the east boundary of Ward 1st till it reaches the Caual,
thence along the centre of the Canal till it reaches the street leading
from Canal street to the Caual Basin, theuce along that street till it
reaches Canal street, thence eastward along Canal street to tbe
bottom of Wardrop street, thence along Wardrop street to a point in
George street at the north end of Wardrop street, thence by the
south and west sides of George's Church to a point at the north end
of the church opposite the south end of Shuttle street, thence along
Shuttle street to the centre of New street, thence by the centre of
New street till it reaches the centre of Causeyside, andfrom thence
down Causeyside until it reaches the said burn called St. Mirren's*
Burn, and thence along the burn to the point first described.
4th Ward — All within the Parliamentary boundary to the west of the
centre of the Biver Cart, which is not included in any of the pre-
ceding Wards.
5th Ward — All withiu the Parliamentary boundary of the Burgh
situated on the east of the eentre of the Biver Cart.
Fairs— Third Thursday of February and May, and second Thursday
of August and November. Markets — Every Thursday.
Fast Days — Fridays before first Sabbath in April and October,
