BEG most respectfully to intimate to the Inhabitants
of Kilmarnock, and Ayrshire in general, that they
have opened those Premises,
39 Portland Street,
Lately occupied by Mr Fowlds, where they intend to keep
an excellant Stock of Goods suitable for a Town and
Country I'rade ; and from Mr Haldane's experience as a
buyer in Loudon, Manchester, and Glasgow, and other
manufacturing towns in England and Scotland ; and from
the experience of Mr Fowlds, they hope by strict atten-
tion to business to merit a share of public patronage.
Thomas Haldane & Co.'s system of doing business
is small profits, Cash, and no abatement whatever
made.

cupied by H. C. Wilson & Co., Wine and Spirit Mer-
chants, with a Stock of Matured Wines of the most
approved quality. His Stock of Whisky, Foreign
Spirits, and Teas, will also be found to be of the very
