This Chart, which is accurately constructed in a bold decided style, is so
arranged that, by means of colour, it may be readily made available for the
illustration of any branch of Physical Geography or Natural History. It
contains Rivers, Lakes, and Sea-Coasts ; Lines of Mean Summer, Mean
Winter, and Mean Annual Temperature, distinguished by different marks ;
the Principal Cities and Towns on the Globe, to which are attached in figures,
the Summer, Winter, and Annual Temperatures. The Names of Places, etc.,
are so small as not to be obtrusive, yet so distinct as to be easily read when
near.
