FIRE DEPARTMENT.
This Company undertakes the Assurance of almost every species of Property in the United Kingdom, at
rates of Premium, and upon principles which -will be found quite as advantageous to the interests of the
Assured as those offered by any other. The Directors can confidently refer to the well-known character of
the Company for liberality and promptitude in the discbarge of claims made upon it during the many years
it has been established.
Mills, Manufactories, Sugar Houses, Distilleries, Warehouses, Stores, Ships Building, Ships in Harbour,
Houses, Furniture, Stock-in-Trade, &c, assured for the year, or any shorter period.
The Policies of this Company cover losses occasioned by the explosion of Gas. Losses occasioned by
Lightning will also be paid.
Fire Dtjty now reduced to Is. 6d. per cent, per annum on every description of Property, and no charge
for Policies or Stamps.
