LIFE DEPARTMENT — IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES.
Premiums Adjusted upon an Equitable and Liberal Basis. — No Charge
for Entry- Money. ,
A Reserved Life Fund of One Million and Upwards, — irrespective of
the Proprietors' Paid-up Capital.
All Medical Fees and Policy Stamps Paid by the Company.
Four-Fifths of the Profits Appropriated to the Assured every Fifth
Year.
THE Proportion allocated to each Policy may he added to the amount insured as a
Bonus or Reversionary Sum, and payable therewith ; or applied in Reduction of
future Premiums; or immediate payment may be obtained of its present value.
Premiums maj' be Paid Yearly or Half- Yearly ; by a Single Payment; by a Limited
Number of Payments; by an Ascending or Descending Scale.
Insurances may be Effected on the joint contingency of two or more Lives ; on the
Joint Lives, and Life of the Survivor, of two or more persons ; on the contingency of one
Life dying before another, or of the Life Assured attaining a specific age, or dying pre-
viously thereto,
insurances, without participation, for the whole of life, or for short
periods, at reduced rates. — annuities and endowments effected.

FIRE DEPARTMENT.
INSURANCES effected on PROPERTY situate in any part of the United Kingdom,
at the usual Rates. Manufactories, and all Risks of a more hazardous nature, Insured
by Special Agreement, on favourable terms.
Half of the Surplus Premiums are appropriated to the Assured every Fifth Year on
Insurances of £300 and upwards, in force for the two preceding years; Six Divisions
having now been made in this Department, when large Returns have been paid to the
Assured.
