2. — An annular Eclipse of thy Sun, May 26th, invisible at Greenwich. Be-
gins on the Earth generally, May 2Cth, 5 hours 45 minutes ; meantime at Green-
wich, in long. 176° 35' W. of Greenwich ; lat. 1° 22' S. Central Eclipse generally,
May 2Gth, 6h. 55m. in long. 162° 51' E., and 6° 43' N. Central Eclipse at noon,
May 26th, 8h. 56m. ; long. 134° 45' W. ; lat. 45° 33' N. ; ends generally, May 26th,
lOh. 30m. Ends on the Earth generally, 26th, llh. 40m. ; long. 73° 41' W. ; lat.
28° 29' N.
3. — A partial Eclipse of the Moon, November 4th, visible at Greenwich. First
contact with the penumbra, 6h. 53m. ; first contact with the shadow, 8h. 45m. p.m. ;
last contact with the penumbra, llh. 32m. p.m.
4. — A total Eclipse of the Sun, November 19-20, invisible at Greenwich. Be-
gins on the Earth generally, November 20th, 7h. 21m. in long. 24° 2' W. ; lat.
0° 49' S. Ends on the Earth generallv, November 20th, 32 minutes past 12 noon, in
long. 93° 24' E. ; lat. 35" 48' S.
