The Magistrates and Council of Glasgow, and other Trustees for Improving*
the Navigation of the River Clyde, established the following Table of Fares for
Porters plying at the Harbour of the Broomielaw :—

For carrying a letter, or pai-cel not exceeding 7 lbs., any distance not ex-

A parcel not exceeding 56 lbs., any distance not exceeding 3- of a mile.
