This Company presents to the Public two modes of effect-
ing an Insurance for the whole Life, either with or without a
participation of Profits, according to two different Tables of
J Rates.
The Rates of the First Table are adapted to those who wish
] to participate in the Profits. They will thus enjoy the advan-
tages of a mutual Insurance Society, while they are exempted
from the risks and anxiety to which an association so model-
led is for a number of years obviously exposed. At each pe-
riodical investigation of the Company's affairs, the Share of
the Profits of those insured under the first Table, will either
be applied to the increase of the sum insured, or the reduction
of Annual Premiums, at their option.
The Rates in the Second Table are adapted to that class of
persons, who, having no desire to participate in the Profits,
r '' | only wish to secure a definite sum at the lowest Premium.
The Rates of Premium on Joint Lives, Survivorships, An-
froi | nuities, Endowments, and every other department connected
iso with Life Insurance, maybe learned on applying at the Office.
On effecting an Insurance, no extra charge is made beyond
In I the government stamp.
| The Agents for the Insurance Company of Scot-
land act as Agents for this Company.
• Example. — A person whose age does not exceed 25, may secure £100,
payable on his death to his heirs or assignees, increased by a proportional
share of the profits, by annual payments of £2, 5s. 4d,, or without pro
fits, by annual payments of £2, Is. 3d.
