numerous customers in the New Town, he has opened
the shop 31, George Street, corner of North Hanover
Street, and that his friends and the public will be
supplied at both Shops with the following goods, of
the best Quality, at his usual small Profits, purchased
in the best Markets, under every advantage, viz :
Scotch and Irish Linens, quality warranted ; Long
Lawns, Linen and Cotton Sheetings of every breadth,
Plain and Tweeled; Damask and Diaper Table Cloths,
Napkins, Table Covers, Diapers and Towellings,
Muslins, Cotton Shirting, Jeans, Bed Quilts, Counter-
panes, Tickings, Furniture Prints, Manchester Stripes,
and Dimities; Windowblind Cotton; Silk, Cotton, and
Woollen Hosiery, and Gloves. Plain and Figured
Bobbin Nets, Laces, Edgings, and Quillings; India
and British Silk Handkerchiefs, Cotton Handker-
chiefs; Needles, Pine, and Small Wares, of every sort.
A large stock of Printed Cambrics and Muslins, and
Coloured Merinos.
A complete assortment of every article for family
Mournings, viz., Black Sarsenets, Lutestrings, Gros
de Naples, Ducapes; Bombazines, Merinoes, Crapes,
Prints, &c.
J. C. recommends to the notice of Families the fol-
lowing articles, to which he pays particular attention.
Flannels, Blankets, Home Made Linens and Sheet-
JDgs, Table Linens, and "Water-twist Cotton Shirtings.
Cambrics, Cambric Handkerchiefs, &c, imported
direct from France.

No expense has been spared in rendering this Esta-
blishment complete and comfortable in all respects.
HOT, COLD, SHOWER, and VAPOUR
BATHS.
Cards of the reduced prices, which are moderate,
to be had on application to the Keeper at the Baths.
No gratuity is expected by any of the attendants.
Open from 8 morning till 10 evening.
