1 General Wyndham sewed the Peninsular campaigns of 1808, 9, 11, and 18, including the
actions of Roleia, Vimiera, Benevente, Albuhera, Usagre, Morales de Toro, Vittoria, and the Pyrenees.
Served also the campaign of 1815, and was severely wounded at Waterloo. He has received the War Medal
with four clasps for Roleia, Vimiera, Albuhera, and Vittoria.
2 Lieut. Ennis served in the 11th Hussars at the siege and capture of Bhurtpore in I825-G (Medal).
3 Paymaster Hely served as a captain in the 1st Lancers of tile late Anglo-Spanish Legion, in 1885 and 36,
and was engaged at the castle of Guevara, the stronghold of the Carlists; and afterwards at Mendegur, Azua,
and heights of Arlaban in Alava on the 16th, 17th, and 18lh Jan. 183G; also at the passage of the Uruir.ea
on the 28th May, and commanded the squadron which took Passages on that day. Again on the right of
the lines when Alza was attacked; together with constant skirmishes in front of Vittoria.

15 Lieut. Hodgson was present with the ]6th Lancers at the siege end capture or li hurt pore in 1825-6, and was a volunteer
tor the dismounted cavalry storming party (Medal and one Clasp). Also presentin the action ofMalinrajpore in Dec. 1843
(Medal). He served also with the 3rd Light Dragoons in the Sutlej campaign of 1846, and was present at the battle of
Eobraon (Medal). Served throughout the Punjaub campaign of 1848-9, including the affair at Rarnnuggur (charger
wounded), the passage of the Chcnab at Wuzcerabad on the 1st Dec. 1848, with the force under Sir Joseph Thackwell,
action of Sadoolapore, aud battles of Chillianwallah and Goojerat (Medal and Two Clasps).
17 Lieut. Ricketts served with the 3rd Light Dragoons in the Punjaub campaign of 1849, and was present at the battle
of Goojerat (Medal and one Clasp).
18 Lieut. Penton served with the 3rd Light Dragoons throughout the Sutlej campaign of 1845-G, and
was present at the battles of Moodkee (charger killed,, Ferozeshnh (charger killed), and Sobraon (Medal
and two Clasps). Also in the Punjaub campaign of 1S48-9, including the affair at Ramnuggur, passage of
the Chenab at W'uzeerabad on the 1st Dec. 1848 with the force under Sir Joseph Thackwell, action of
Sadoolapore, and battles of Chillianwallah and Goojerat (Medal and two Clasps).
19 Paymaster Walshe served with the 9th Rcgt. throughout the campaign of 1842 in Affghanistan
(Medal) under Sir George Pollock, including the storming tile Khyber 1 ass, taking the Fort of Mamoo
Khali, storming the heights of Jugdulluck, action in the Tezeen Valley, clearing the heights of HuR
Kotul, and storming the Town of Islalitf.
