70 Lt.Colonel Francis Fuller served with the 59th at the capture of the Cape of Good Hope in
1806; the Peninsular campaigns from Dec. 1812 to Feb. 1814, including the battle of Vittoria,
siege of San Sebastian, and battle of the Nive, where he was wounded in the shoulder atitl
thigli. Campaign of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo, storming of Cambray, and capture
of Paris. Commanded the regiment at the siege and capture of Bhurtpore, in 1825-G, under
Lord Combnrmere, and was slightly wounded in the arm. He has received the Gold Medal
for San Sebastian, having commanded the regiment there j and the Silver War Medal with
three Clasps for Vittoria, Nivclle, and Nive.
71 Lieut.Colonel Garner joined the 1st Battalion of the 40th Regt. in the Pyrenees in 1813,
and ho served in tlie campaign of that and the following year. He has received the War Medal
with one Clasp for Nivelle.
72 Lt.Colo'iel Gascoignc served with the Grenadier Guards in the Crimean Campaign from
29th Aug. 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkisli
Medal).
73 Lt.Coloncl Gore served with the Cth Regt. in the Kaffir wars of 184C-7, and of 1851-3
(Medal). Served witli the Buffs at the siege of Sebastopol from 1st to 16th May 1855, after
which as Aide de Camp to Major General Miclicl with tlie Turkisli Contingent (Jlcdal and
Clasp, Tuikisli Medal, and 4th Class of the Medjidie).
74 Lieut.Colonel Gordon served the campaigns of 1816, 17, and 18, in Malwa; in the Persian
Gulf in 1819 and 20, .ind in Ava in 1825 and 26. Wounded at Donabew 2Gth March, and on
the Heights near Prome. 2iid Dec. 1825.
75 Sir William Gordon {17th Lancers) served in tlie Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including
the battle of Balaklava (wounded and horse shot) and sitge of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps,
Knight oi cne Legion of Honour, 5th Clas^ of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). t«.'^eil in

76 Lt.Colonel J. J. Grant sewed the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including ihe battles of
Balaklava and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Brevet of Major, Medal and three Claspf,
and Turkish Medal).
77 Lt.Colonel Green sen'ed the Eastern Campaign of 1854-55 with the 30th Regt. including
the battles of Alma and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol, sortie of 26th Oct. 1854, and
assault on the Redan on the 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasps, and mentioned in Dispatches, Brevet
Major, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
78 Lt.Colonel Grey served as an Ensign in the 24th Bengal N.I. during the campaign on tlie
Sutlej, and was present at the battle of Ferozeshah (Medal). Served with the 63rd Regt. at
the siege and fall of Sebastopol from 6th Sept. 1855, as also at the bombardment and capture
of Kinbourn (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
79 Lt.Colonel Grove served throughout the Kaffir war of 1846-47 (Medal). Served also in
the Crimea at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and was severely wounded at the assault of the
Redan on tiie 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasp, Brevet of Lt.Col., Knight of the Legion of Honor, and
Turkisli Medal).
80 Lt.Colonel Hague sei-ved with the 67th Regt. throughout the campaign of 1860 in Nortli
China, including the action of Sinho, taking of Tangku, capture of the inner Taku Fort, and sur¬
render of Pekin (Medal with two Clasps). Commanded a detachment 67th Regt. in the operations
against the Taeping rebels in the vicinity of Shanghai in April and May 1862.
81 Lt.Colonel James Halkett served witli the Coldstream Guards in the Crimea from 18th Oct.
to 7th Nov. 1854 and was present at the siege of Scbastopol, and battles of Balaklava and Inker-
man— sevei'cly wounded (Medal and Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the
Modjidie, and Turkish Medal).
82 Lieut.Colonel George Hall served in the Peninsula from January 1811 to June 1812. and
again from October 1813 to the end of that war in 1814, including the battle of Fuentos d'Onor,
sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo and Badajoz (severely wounded), battle of the Nive, Orthes, and Tou¬
louse. Served also tlie campaign of 1815, and was present at the battle of Waterloo.
82t Lt.Colonel L. H. Hamilton served as Assist.Adjntant General in the Burniah war (Medal
and Brevet of Major); name twice honorably mentioned in General Godwin's Dispatches, and
in Orders of the Governor-General.
83 Lieut.Colonel Hammill served the campaign of 1814 in Upper Canada.
84 Lieut.Colonel Harding served in the Peninsula with the 5th Regt. from August 1812, to
the end of that war in 1814, including the retreat from Burgos and Madrid, battle of Vittoria,
blockade ',of Pampeluna, battles of the Pyrenees from the 20th to the 29th July, the Nivelle and
tlie Nive ('from 9th to 13th Dec); passage of the Gave d'Oleron battle of Orthes, actions of Vic
Bigorre and Tarbes, and battle of Toulouse.
85 Lt.Colonel Hardy served with the 58th Regiment in New Zealand, and was present at the
attack and repulse of the hostile natives on the settlement and stockades of Wanganui, 19th
May, and action of the 19th July 1847.
86 Lt.Colonel Harries served with the 3rd Regt. the Eastern campaign of 1854, including
the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkerman (severely woundedj, and siege of Sebastopol
(Modal and Clasps, Brevet Lt.Colonel, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidie,
and Turkisli Medal).
87 Lord George Lennox served in the 9th Lancers and 15th Hussars during the campaigns of
1812, 13 and 14 in the Peninsula; was present at the affair of Morales de Toro, battle of
Vittoria, blockade of Pampeluna, and battle of the Pyrenees, and served as Aide de Camp to
the Duke of Wellington at the battles of Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, and Toulouse, from which last
