testant subjects.]

Notwithstanding all the clemency shown to papists they
are still enemies, even those that pretend to submit. In
future any outrage on protestants shall be reprised on the
popish inhabitants of the county, except those of manifest
good will. No popish priest shall be allowed to live in a
county where rapparee outrages take place. No papist
will be protected whose son is with the rebels on or after
10 December next. The father shall have leave to go and
fetch him.

All papists, not known householders for over three months,
to leave Dublin and its liberties within forty-eight hours and
remain 10 miles or more distant on pain of punishment as
spies. The Lord Mayor, &c., to search and report names.
Any papist found in Dublin after 4 December, or any five
papists meeting, or any papists out of their houses after
9 p.m. shall be prosecuted. 20s. reward for information.

fidelity have been removed from Dublin by an order [of
Council] dated 8 December. They are not to return to
