All private soldiers, not in Col. Foulkes' and Col. Herbert's
regiments (now quartered in Dublin) who are not provided
with passes or are not in the Hospital at Killmainham,
are to be arrested and brought before Col. Foulkes or the
Governor of Dublin to avoid the danger of spies. No one
need quarter soldiers without a billet from the sheriffs or
constables.

and Kinsaile, Sunday, 16 November, is appointed a day of
thanksgiving. This proclamation to be read in all churches
on 9 November. The weekly fast to be discontinued till
further order.

The army now in winter quarters must be provisioned.
I. Soldiers are not to take food, but to pay at the rates
appointed by the Lords Justices, on pain of punishment in
proclamation 24 June, No. 1121, q.v. 2. No one to press
horses or carts. Order 20 June, No. 1120, q.v. 3. Stragglers
to be put down. Order of Kilkenny 9 Oct., No. 1164, q.v.,
to be executed. 4, No soldiers to go foraging without leave
from the General. 5. Forage to be brought into barony
stores. 6. Storekeepers to render monthly accounts. 7. The
officers to requisition the sheriff for forage, 4 cwt. of hay and
5 bushels of oats per month per horse. 8. If this forage is
not provided the general-in-chief will look into the matter.
9. Regulations for payment of quarters when the soldiers
have not been paid. 10. Eeturns on changing quarters.

quarts); mault, 7s. 6(/. ; oats, 4s. barrel; oatmeal, \d. per
