At an Assembly in the Tholsel of Dublin, the Master
Porters pray that the rules of the Holy Trinity Guild of
Merchants, Dublin, on 14 January might be confirmed, and
this was done. Phil Croft.
Bules. Thirty-five persons and no more to be Master
Porters. Measuring Fees. M. ton of coal or salt, id. for
20 barrels of grain, \Qd. 20 barrels of bark. Bearing Porters
(buyer pays). \0d. a ton from a bark or gabbard to a house
on the keys, and from that to Is. IQd. Carmen to places
out of the walls Is. lOd. to 2s. &d. Similar rates for the
Inns at Oxman-Town. Any one charging more to be in¬
capable of being a Porter or Carman. Lord Mayor to license
carmen. Guild of Merchants to admit Master Porters.
