     5. The annual examinations were held at the end of March 1915 and the
results were as follows:—

First year Out of 23 students who appeared, only 3 failed. Two
failures were recommended for removal from the school
and the remaining one to be promoted.
Second year Only 3 of the 14 students who went up for the second year
Board Examination passed in all subjects. Of the 11
failures, 7 were recommended for promotion and 4 to be
remanded without stipend for one year.
Third year Nine appeared and no one passed in every subject. Six
who obtained pass marks in aggregate were recommended
to be promoted to the fourth year and the remaining
3 who failed to do so to be remanded for another year
with half stipend.
Fourth year Nine sat for the Final Board Examination and all passed
out.

     6. Nine passed final year students left for Madras on the 9th April 1915 to
undergo practical training in Midwifery at the Government Maternity Hospital for
three months. They were accompanied by Civil Assistant Surgeon L. Htin Poh

     7. As the number of the yearly admissions has been increased, the dissection
room had to be enlarged by taking away the partition between two lower rooms
and converting the upper flat of the building into an Anatomy lecture hall. The
