The content related to disease and medical developments in India has been authored by Dr Samiksha Sehrawat. Francine Millard and Jane Quinn wrote the text relating to drugs and institutions, and Chris Gill wrote the veterinary medicine text. Nisha Munogee wrote the text on mental health, with additions by Francine Millard. The text on vaccination and smallpox was authored by Simon Walker.

This web feature has been developed in association with the Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare. The CSHHH Glasgow is a research collaboration between the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University. Its members would be happy to discuss working on the Medical History of British India collection and the possibility of studentships and stipends for research on the history of medicine in Scotland at the CSHHH Glasgow.
