1884 and 1885. Played goal for College 1st team in 1885.
After leaving played for Seacombo St. _ Paul's, which pro-
duced Montgoinery and Roche, of now -defunct Bootle.
1888 (April), Head Master of St. Mary's Chester. Became
a member of Chester and District Football Asociation, with
which he commenced refereeing, 1890. Afterwards secretary
of City team, 1898-1900. Elected member of Executive of
Football Combination. Elected secretary of Football Com-
bination 1900. Football League linesman 1898-1901, and
Football League referee 1902 and 1903. Officiated in Final
Northivich Charity Cup, Semi-Final Cheshire County
Senior Cup, afterwards refereed with the Football Com-
bination and Lancashire Combination.

AYLOTT, J. E., Gas `Yorks, Fulham. Born at Lavender
Hill, London, Surrey, in July, 1867. Clubs played for:
Stanley (now defunct), Imperial Rovers, and Fulham.
Commenced refereeing October, 1892. Most important
games conducted: County matches, S.L. games (Division I.),
county cup seini-finals and F.A. and Amateur Cup-ties, &c.
