This Gentleman was a Member of the Society of
Grafs-Inn^ and wrote the following Dramatic Pieces :
I. Jocafta^ a Tragedie, 1566. Tranflated from the
Greek oi Euripides.
II. The Suppofesy a Comedie, 1566. Tranflated
from the Italian of Ariofto,
III. The Gla/se of Go'uernmente, a Tragi. Comedie,
IV. Pleafure at Kenel-vjorthe Cajlkt a Mafque.
Thefe Plays are printed in Quarto, on a Black Let-'
ter, in one Volume with his other Poems, 1 587.
Mr. LEWIS WAGER.
This Author wrote one Interlude, called
Mary Magdalene, her Lyfe and Repentaunce,
'^ ^* Mr. WILLIAM WAYER,
Author of one Play, called
The longer thou li'uejie, the more Foole thou arte^ a Co^
medie, 1570.
Mr. THOMAS INGELAND,
Was a Student in the Univerfity of Cambridge, and
wrote one Play, called
The Dif obedient e Childe, a mtrrie Interlude t I57i»
Sir PHILLIP SIDNEY.
This illuftrious Author was born at Venjhurjl in Kent
in 1554, and educated at O;v/ori, where he continued
