Comperis Kathrene Schoirt and confessit the occasion quhin scho came
out of Edinburgh was becaus scho haid committit adulterie with Thomas
Ramsay burges in the Channongeit and that hir husband Mr Archbald

Robert Blakwod being callit comperit and is found to have contravenit the
actis. Thairfor conforme to the act of parliament ordanis him as cautione
for his dochter and partie10 being found to have failzeit in that hir bannes of
mariage within fourty dayis has not [been] fulfillit with Jhon Cally, and seing
that he11 objectis he may not gudly at this present performe it, the minister
and elders with ane litill oversicht ordanis that their bannes be performit
betwix this and Witsonday nixt, utherwayis the penultie to be triplit without
ony kynd of favor or any forder oversicht. And the foirsaid penultie of ten
poundis presently to be payit utherwayis not to have the benefit of mariage.
