242 EXAMINATIONS OF PERSONS UNDER SPIRITUAL CONCERN II
now I care no more for it, than if I had nothing ado with it: and tho I likd to
hear the Gospel before, yet it never made any impression on me, but went in at
the one ear & out at the other: now I hear it with great delight & often feel it
powerfully applyd to my heart; & I now for ordinary am taken up even when
about my Worldly business in meditating upon passages of the Word I have
been reading or hearing. Formerly I had no Love to Christ, tho I foohshly
imagin’d I had, now I find my heart often warm’d with his Love, tho’ yet it
is my grief I have not much more love to him; & long to be freed from sin
whereby I am daylie offending him, & to love and enjoy him perfectly and
for ever in Heaven: To him be all Glory & praise now & ever. Amen.
