To William Erode, priest, Glasgow diocese. Indult abolishing all
stain and inhability contracted through killing a layman in self
defence in a quarrel over a horse, and dispensing William to remain
in priest’s orders and to hold any benefice with or without cure
even if a canonry and prebend in a cathedral church.

To the dean of Glasgow, the archdeacon of Majorca and the official
of St Andrews. Mandate to confirm Adam de Aberdeen, canon of
Scone, osa, b.theol., b.dec., in possession of the claustral priory
of the said monastery, which is non-elective, valueless and without
cure, as he had doubted the validity of his provision by Alexander,
abbot of Scone, to whom the provision to and removal from that
position pertained.

To the bishop of Brechin, the archdeacon of Lothian and the
official of St Andrews. Mandate to take summary judicial action,
with the aid of the secular arm if necessary, against detainers and
molesters of goods spiritual and temporal, pertaining to the abbot
and convent of the monastery of Scone, osa, whether dukes,
marquises, earls, knights, or other laymen.

papal penitentiary. Appointment of Adam, b.dec., as a papal
penitentiary with all the attendant privileges, liberties, honours,
stipends and emoluments with powers of absolution in cases pertinent
to minor penitentiaries at the curia, and he is held to render the oath
