To master Christopher Pontfret, rector of the parish church of Glas-
fort, Glasgow diocese, papal chaplain. Appointment of Christopher
as a papal chaplain.1

To William Croyser, canon of Dunkeld, m.a. Indult for William,
third year student of theology, holding a canonry and prebend of
Dunkeld and the parish church of Kirkgowran in commendam,
litigating over the parish church of Tarbolton, Glasgow diocese, and
recently reserved a benefice with or without cure of the kind wont
to be assigned to secular clerks, in the gift of the bishop of St
Andrews and the prior and chapter of St Andrews, os A, to hold
two other benefices with or without cure even if canonries and
prebends, dignities, parsonages or offices in cathedral or collegiate
churches, or one a major or principal dignity and the other a parish
church, with powers of exchange outside the curia at the hands of
the ordinary for two incompatible benefices; but within three years
he is to exchange one of these incompatible benefices for a com¬
patible benefice otherwise at the end of the three years he is to demit
one of them.

recently provided to the parish church of Abernit, Dunkeld diocese,
which he was dispensed to hold along with the archdeaconry, to
