To the bishop of Glasgow. Mandate to reserve to William de
Forestar, priest, Glasgow diocese, a benefice of the kind wont to
be assigned to secular clerks, in the gift of the abbot and convent
of Kelso, osb, to the value of 30 merks sterling if it is situated in
those parts where the ancient taxation of the teinds is not reduced by
half, and to the value of 20 merks sterling if it is situated elsewhere.

To Andrew de Hawik, rector of the parish church of Lyston, St
Andrews diocese. Indult for Andrew, secretary of Robert, duke of
Albany, governor of Scotland, to hold along with the said parish
church, or another benefice with cure even if an elective dignity
which he might obtain in the future, one other benefice incom¬
patible with the above, even if another parish church, with powers
of exchange outside the curia for two incompatible benefices; but
within three years of his peaceful assecution to such incompatibles,
he is to exchange one for compatibles, otherwise at the end of the
three years he is to demit one or the other.

Confirmation of the provision of James to the said priory, although
it had been incorrectly stated in the original papal letters of provision
that the priory was worth no more than 100 gold florins whereas in
fact it has no fruits of its own and its resources are held in common
with the chanter.
