To master James de Haldeston, prior of May, os A, St Andrews
diocese, and papal chaplain. Appointment of James, constituted a
priest, as a papal chaplain and familiar.

To the bishop of Orense, the abbot of Balmerino, and the official
of St Andrews. Mandate to confirm Celestine Johannis, canon of
Inchaffray, os A, in possession of the priory of Strathfulen, os A,
which is neither a dignity or parsonage and is non-elective without
cure, value not exceeding ^10 sterling to a non-resident, vacant by
the free resignation of John de Mortimer, former prior, outside
the curia, into the hands of Robert, bishop of Dunkeld, who
admitted the resignation by ordinary authority; whereupon the
abbot and convent of Inchaffray, to whom the presentation to the
said priory had pertained from ancient custom, presented the said
Celestine to Robert inside the lawful time and he was provided to
the priory by ordinary authority; but he had doubted the validity
of his presentation and provision and sought confirmation which is
granted as above.
