To the bishop of Argyll. Mandate to dispense John Eugenii, layman,
to marry anew Devorgall, daughter of John Renaldi, layman, Argyll
and Sodor dioceses. John and Devorgall had contracted marriage
per verba legitime de presenti, had published the banns and married;
but, after a child was born, it was brought to their notice that they
were related in the third and fourth degrees of affinity as Devorgall
and the late Peregeret, wife of the said John Eugenii had been
related in the third and fourth degrees of consanguinity, and their
marriage was therefore invalid. The dispensation is granted as above
and the said child and any subsequent children are to be legitimate.

to marry Beath, daughter of Macperson [51c], layman, Argyll diocese,
notwithstanding that Malcolm and Beath in full awareness of being
related in the third degree of affinity, in that the late Nunecclerich,
wife of the said Malcolm, was related in the third degree of con¬
sanguinity to Beath, nonetheless had had carnal relations on several
occasions from which a child was bom. The dispensation is granted
as above and the said child and any subsequent children are to be
legitimate.
