To Richard Knight, canon of Dunkeld, b.dec. Provision of Richard,
priest, lic.art., envoy of Robert, duke of Albany and governor
of the realm of Scotland, to a canonry of Dunkeld with expectation
of a prebend with or without cure provided it is not a major dignity
in the said church.

Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Orense, and the officials of
St Andrews and Brechin.

To Walter Paniter, abbot of Arbroath. Provision of Walter, monk
of Arbroath, priest, b.dec., of noble birth to the abbacy of Arbroath,
a benefice reserved under the late abbot John to papal provision,
but on whose death outside the curia, the convent, in ignorance of
the reservation, had elected Walter as abbot and he agreed to the
election. Learning of the reservation Walter had appealed to the
pope who declared his election and the subsequent events invalid,
but not wishing the monastery to be harmed by a long vacancy
grants the above provision.

of the monastery of Arbroath, the bishop of St Andrews, and James,
king of Scots.

To the archdeacon of Segorbe, the archdeacon of Candida Casa,
and John Waus, canon of Glasgow. Mandate to collate John Clerici
priest, Glasgow diocese, to the vicarage of the parish church of
Irvyn, said diocese, value not exceeding 30 merks old sterling to a
non-resident. A certain John Stewart, subdean of Glasgow, by virtue
of his provision to the sub-deanery was to demit the said parish
church which he then held, and John Clerici who had a papal
reservation was peacefully assecuted to the said church. But John
Stewart contrary to the bull Execrabilis continued to hold the sub-
