Albany and governor of Scotland, perpetual vicar of the parish
church of Tarvas, value not exceeding £20 Scots, to a canonry,
prebend and the precentorship of Ross, a non-elective dignity with
cure worth ^10 Scots, vacant by the promotion of William Fairhar,
former precentor, to a canonry and the deanery of Ross; and he is
further dispensed to retain the canonry, prebend and precentorship
along with the said parish church, notwithstanding that he has
recently been granted letters of reservation of a canonry and prebend
of Aberdeen which, however, are to become invalid on his peaceful
assecution to the said canonry, prebend and precentorship.

To Walter, elect of Brechin. Provision of Walter, sub-dean of
Brechin, priest, to the bishopric of Brechin, vacant by the death
outside the curia of Stephen, late bishop, as a benefice reserved under
Stephen to papal provision, although on Stephen’s death the chapter,
in ignorance of the papal reservation, had elected Walter; which
election and the events subsequent are declared invalid, but to avoid
a long vacancy the above provision is now made.

of St Andrews. Mandate to confirm Robert de Moffet, b.u.j., priest,
in possession of a canonry of Glasgow and the prebend of Durisdi,
value not exceeding -£20 sterling to a non-resident, vacant by the
death outside the curia of Hugh de Dalmahoy, late canon, which
he had claimed and been provided to by virtue of papal letters grant¬
ing him a canonry of Glasgow with expectation of a prebend; but
he had later doubted the validity of his possession which is confirmed
as above, notwithstanding that he is known to hold the vicarage of
the parish church of Peblis, Glasgow diocese, which, however, on
