To the abbot of Balmerino, the archdeacon of Glasgow, and John
Stewart, canon of Glasgow. Mandate to provide Reginald Marchal,
priest, Glasgow diocese, to the perpetual vicarage of the parish church
of Ardrossan, Glasgow diocese, value not exceeding ^6 sterling to
a non-resident, vacant by the death outside the curia ofjohn Tonnok,
late vicar.

To Alexander Berber, priest, Aberdeen diocese. Provision of Alex¬
ander, kinsman of Robert, duke of Albany and governor of Scotland,
to the archdeaconry of Caithness, a non-elective dignity with cure,
value not exceeding £20 to a non-resident, vacant by the promotion
of a certain Alexander to the bishopric of Orkney, or vacant by a
delay in provision, or vacant in any way other than by the death of
the said Alexander; notwithstanding that the said Alexander Berber
has recently been granted papal letters of provision to the parish
church of Makkyrsi, Dunkeld diocese, value not exceeding 20 merks
Scots, and unlawfully detained at that time, which he is dispensed to
retain along with the said archdeaconry.
