To master John Leche, rector of the parish church of Dysert, St
Andrews diocese, papal chaplain. Indult for John, kinsman of
Robert, king of Scots, to hold along with Dysert, or any other parish
church he might obtain, any type of dignity even if elective with
cure, provided it is not a major or principal one in a cathedral or
collegiate church, with powers of exchange for two only incom¬
patible similar or dissimilar benefices, notwithstanding decrees of
general councils to the contrary; and furthermore Jolm is dispensed
to resign any of these benefices outside the curia into the hands of
the ordinary, who is to admit the resignation as if John were not a
papal chaplain.

To John Clerici, rector of the parish church of the Blessed Mary of
Aram, Sodor diocese. Provision of John to the parish church of
Irwyn, Glasgow diocese, a benefice with cure, value not exceeding
30 merks old sterling, vacant by the provision of the former vicar,
John Stewart, to the sub-deanery of Glasgow. John Clerici is to hold
the church, vacant as above, or vacant in any way other than by
the death of John Stewart, and notwithstanding that he is known
to hold the above parish church of the Blessed Mary which, how¬
ever, on his peaceful assecution to Irwyn he is held to demit.1
